DC motors
The operation of a direct current motor is based on the Lorentz force acting on a current carrying conductor in an alternating magnetic field. By a DC-motor the magnetic field will be changed of direction on a mechanical way by means of the commutator, or electronical the so-called brushless electric motor.
The main feature of the DC motor is that speed can be easily regulated. As a result, such a motor is particularly suited for adjustable drivessystems.
DC-motors are seen by some as an ancient technique, which has been gone; Not at Van Bodegraven Electric motors! We have a large stock but also sufficient knowledge. This knowledge of DC-motors has been transferred through the time, and therefore maintaind for now and the future.
